Are You Guilty of Committing Word Crimes?

It was not my intention to write a blog post about grammar this week, but I watched a video about the topic that is so educational and entertaining that I had to share it.  It was written/produced by Weird Al Yankovic.  Yes, the same guy who parodied Michael Jackson’s hit video “Beat It” in his version “Eat It.”   The new video is a musical grammar guide that is titled “I Hate These Word Crimes.”   Weird Al uses humor and the beat of Robin Thicke’s hit song, “Blurred Lines,” to provide a plethora of helpful tips so not only will you improve your grammar by watching the video, but you can dance while you do it.
